Urban Walks Packing List
Walking is one of the best ways to get to know a city, but a day on the pavement is hard on your feet and your phone battery. This list keeps you light and comfortable for a full day exploring on foot. When you create a trip from this list, you can remove or add your own items.
Some considerations
- Comfortable, broken-in shoes are the single most important thing. Never debut new shoes on a walking day.
- Use a crossbody bag or a zippered daypack that stays in front of you in crowded areas.
- Keep a transit card handy so you can hop on a bus or subway when your feet give out.
- Dress in layers. Weather changes, and buildings can be much warmer or colder than the street.
