Beach Activities Packing List
A day at the beach is mostly about managing sun, water, and sand. Whether you’re swimming, surfing, or lying around with a book, this list covers a full day on the shore. When you create a trip from this list, you can remove or add your own items.
Some considerations
- Beaches often have very little natural shade, so bring an umbrella or pop-up shelter. It makes a huge difference for kids and for midday breaks.
- Choose a reef-safe sunscreen to protect the marine animals!
- A mesh bag lets sand fall out of your gear instead of coming home in your car.
- Bring more water than you think you need. Salt, sun, and sand are dehydrating.
